Danielle Hutchinson is an Australian Lawyer and mediator with a special interest in cross-disciplinary approaches to appropriate dispute resolution. She is the co-founder of Resolution Resources who are advisors, practitioners and educators in dispute resolution. Danielle is also the ADR Specialist for the Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria (DSCV), where she provides expert advice, training and innovative connections between theory and practice. Her work with DSCV was recently featured in the internationally renowned Kluwer Mediation Blog. She has 10 years’ experience as an academic and was a designer and analyst for The Global Pound Conference Series 2016-17 (GPC). She was recently commissioned by the International Mediation Institute (IMI), the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) to complete the GPC North America Report. Emma-May is the co-founder of Resolution Resources. She is a mediator, facilitator and coach with over 10 years experience in education and dispute resolution. Her expertise lies in supporting parties to restore, develop and enhance the relationships that are vital for their professional or personal success. Emma-May is also the Workplace Facilitator for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Victoria , where she provides coaching, facilitation, mediation, expert advice, and training. Emma-May is an academic and Masters candidate at RMIT University. Along with her business partner, Danielle, Emma-May was a designer and analyst for The Global Pound Conference Series 2016-17 (GPC). The Singapore Report – Global Pound Conference Series 2016-17
Resolution Resources was commissioned by International Mediation Institute (IMI) to conduct the first analysis of data collected from the Global Pound Conference 2016-17. Spreading the word – making ADR research available to the wider workforce

Defining quality in dispute resolution
Defining quality in dispute resolution can be a tricky process. It is particularly contentious when we consider that we are yet to reach consensus on how to define processes such as conciliation and mediation. Any attempt to define quality needs to strike a balance between being overly specific and overly general.
